Wow I finally won one last week. It’s like witnessing a rare eclipse to see Mustache Man win these days. I mean the law of averages has to eventually come back in my favor, right? Right?!?
Anyways, enough of me feeling bad for myself, this is Championship Sunday and I need to give you a winning pick!
I don’t feel good about either game line. I just don’t. I’m not sure the Ravens are 4.5 points better than the Chiefs, and I’m equally not as sure that the 49ers are 7.5 points better than the Lions.
One player prop did stick out to me though.
Brock Purdy Rush YDS Over/Under 7.5. My thinking is that in these bigger games, windows close faster, there’s less room for error, and the ability to make plays outside of the pocket becomes increasingly more important. Purdy doesn’t show it a lot, but he’s athletic. He can make things happen when a play breaks down (that is if he doesn’t end up throwing the ball into traffic). For these reasons, I’m taking the over.
